Celebrating with Margaritas

Wonderwoman extraordinaire, Andrea had some wonderful news this week, so we had a double date to celebrate! We opted to try a new Mexican joint, Salsa 17. It was previously called Fuego, but closed down a few months ago and re-opened under the new name. We all agreed that it was pretty much the same place, but had no complaints about that fact! In addition to enjoying a couple of Mexico’s signature beverages (Margaritas!), we started with some guacmole made table-side:

It was fresh and perfectly seasoned – we all enjoyed it immensely.

For my main course, I was craving some veggies, so I ordered the Veggie Fajitas:

Sizzling and smelling delicious, they were served alongside this delectable dish of toppings:

I mostly utilized the guacmole and pico de gallo. And while I wasn’t able to finish even HALF of all this wonderful food, I now have scrumptious leftovers for lunch! Congratulations again, Andrea! Thanks for the reason to celebrate.
