This holiday season has been crazier than most. Dan and I have been going nonstop – baking, creating, shopping, wrapping, decorating – it never ends! But right before all the mayhem set in, we had time for ONE final dinner with my parents. And my dad wasn’t going to be satisfied until he made a valiant run at topping my “signature dish.” He churned out some delicious barley ristotto.
It was amazing, but not QUITE as good as mine. Of course. He also made fish, decked out in lemon slices (taste AND display bonus).
Just a few reasons I love heading to my parents’ house for dinner.
