Skinny Pizza

Dan and I frequently make our own pizza. We love to use the cast iron skillet, the grill … and make deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza. BUT, everyone knows that this party food is just a little bit healthier with less dough. SO, we embarked on a thin-crust version (thanks to the help of a THIN cast iron skillet my parents gave us for Christmas!) I suggested roasted butternut squash and goat cheese pizza. Dan had something else in mind. He was volunteering to grocery shop and put the whole shebang together, so I gave him the final vote. This is what he turned out.

Delicious pepperoni pizza with goat cheese and kale. Plus some tomato sauce to dip the crust in. Le yum.
