Sights Unseen

This photo journey began with a plane ride … to Virginia! My grandmother lives on a horse farm out there, and Dan recently accompanied me for a little family weekend visit. It was the perfect fall weekend, beautiful weather and lots to see and do. See for yourself!

We started with a fun discovery of some of my grandmother’s old cameras:

I used my camera, however, to get some beautiful shots outside.

Such a beautiful property.

We also made a delicious pizza dinner:

We took care of some important groundhog business (yikes!) by the light of the moon:

Dan loved farm life. He got to pet the horses:

AND take a tour of a local gem that really caught his eye.

He managed to snake himself a few bottles as a souvenir.

On one of our final stops, we visited an art gallery that’s housed in a barn!
