how i plan to handle my workouts this month


in case you were wondering, beast mode is what happens when you’re in the gym (or at home, or outside, or WHEREVER you’re working out) and everything else is just gone. you go into animal mode, completely blind and deaf to pain, passing time and sometimes even the music blaring in your headphones. all that matters is getting it done as intensely as possible. when the workout is over, you awake, as if from a trance, full of endorphins and pride. if you haven’t done it, i highly recommend checking it out.

  1. hahaha love this. You captured “Beast Mode” Perfectly…. every aspect of it. The music, insensitive to pain, getting it done, feeling so accomplished after. It’s all so true.

    Some guy at the gym this morning actually came up to me and was like, “I was talking with another man the other day, who said “that girl works out like an animal.” I didn’t say anything back because I wasn’t sure whether or not to take that as a compliment or as a weird sort of insult. It just reminded me of your post though! Love to see the intensity!
