sounds good to me! they sent me the little tin pictured above, and since a serving size is about 30 tablets, i took most of them in one shot. i decided to try them out before a workout to see how it affected my performance.
the good news? the workout was one of the best i have had in recent memory. the bad news? i have no idea why! because i worked out on a saturday, i was able to take a shot of espresso about 45 minutes prior to starting, so i know that must have had some effect on my energy level. they don’t taste that great, but if you just take a few at a time with a huge swig of water, you hardly notice.
i’ve decided to start taking this kind of supplement a little more regularly to see if it has an overall effect on my health. we actually bought some spirulina from whole foods a while back and never finished them, so i will start there. i am also adding in a fish oil pill and a multivitamin (one of my friends who is a nutritionist told me that in order for the vitamin to be effective, it has to be pharmaceutical grade, so i am working on finding one that fits the bill. suggestions welcome!
