this week, i’m spending more time and energy to improve the mental component of my health. so far, that has meant a few things:
-indulging my creativity through creative writing and (very bad) artwork
-de-stressing each night by writing down everything that’s weighing on my mind
-spending more time reading my book (currently finishing up “the idiot” by fyodor dostoevsky)
-allowing myself to occasionally “space out.” it does wonders, ironically
so, as a salute to pampering yourself mentally and putting your imagination first …
also, happy 30th birthday to a girl who has been my best friend, confidant and kindred spirit for almost a decade now. i love you, dre!
