i mentioned a protein pancake recipe yesterday that i wanted to share! it’s fast, simple and absolutely delicious. the star of the show was this guy:

almond butter, chocolate chip protein pancakes
1 cup bob’s red mill pancake mix + 1 scoop of isopure cookies and cream protein powder
3/4 almond milk
pour batter onto the griddle. once you flip the cake, sprinkle some cacao nibs and drop a small spoonful of almond butter (ours is homemade!) on to the raw side of the pancake.
that’s it! super easy. they were absolutely delicious, and best of all – portable! we had some leftovers that i will use as a travel snack, but they would also be great for “breakfast leftovers” as well. we enjoyed ours with a bit of organic maple sugar and added almond butter on top.
