there are fewer things more refreshing than an ice cold beverage on a scorching saturday summer evening. in the past, i would have automatically turned to old stand-bys like beer, margaritas or sangria, but i’ve come to realize through recent revelations that sometimes … i’d just as soon not drink! (PS – there’s a really fabulous article on that topic from gretchen rubin, author of the happiness project).
as a result, dan and i created a wonderful fruit slushie filled with antioxidants (and lots of sugar from all the fruit, i realize, but this is meant to be a “treat”). it’s ridiculously easy, refreshing and tasty. for those interested, it could easily serve as a mixer for vodka as well.
any thoughts on a good name?
