yesterday brought us a sure sign of fall: opening day of NFL regular season. fans across the nation cheered on their teams (go bears!) and did the normal game day stuff: drank beer, ate chips and dip, lounged on the couch or in a bar. all those things are amazing (in theory) and a grand part of the football tradition. i came up with a slightly different way to enjoy the game. with a workout!
i used to love to hit the gym during a bears or blackhawks game because usually, it was a ghost town and i could sweat in peace. i would make sure to time a majority of my workout on a treadmill or bike where i could watch the game while exercising. but the below workout allows you to enjoy the game from the comfort of your own home (or someone else’s!) and get your activity in for the day. i’ll definitely be giving it a go in the very near future.
