keep it in perspective

sometimes, i get tunnel vision. for whatever reason, i tend to be very “week-focused.” i have to complete x amount of workouts in one week. i set these goals to be accomplished this week. i’ve only get so much free time in the next week. i know it’s pretty common, as a lot of other people ask questions like “what are you up to this week?” or “what does this week look like for you?” so i know i’m not insane, but tonight it occurs to me, why a week? why not a month? or a year? or a lifetime? from now until we are 65, dan and i have about 1850 saturdays left together. so it’s ok if i have to spend this one coming up at the dentist.
