NOLA Sights Unseen

Last week, I posted some pictures from our relaxing beach vacation. What made our trip even more amazing was that after we left the beach, I got to spend three whole days in New Orleans with my parents. We hiked around in the 104 degree heat, enjoying the sights, scenes, music, food and culture of NOLA. We took a MULE-drawn carriage ride through the French Quarter, went out to eat and frequented several jazz and zydeco clubs. We went down Frenchman Street, hit up Cafe du Monde (did you know that it’s open 24 hours!?) and checked out all the street vendors. I had a hard time capturing what I felt was the essence of the city with my camera, but hopefully you still get the gist. Enjoy!
